This Café IFAL will be presented by Jane Garnham, a member of IFAL’s Exec.  Jane is a very experienced Action Learning set facilitator and coach and has facilitated sets primarily in health, housing, social care and the UK charitable sector.

She also designs and delivers leadership development programmes and has recently been helping leaders think about developing a systems perspective as an associate of Koreo, whose work is founded on the belief that talent is the fundamental force of social change, that social impact should be at the heart of all work regardless of sector or role, and that collaborative action is the only way to address complex social issues.

She has long been interested in the tension between the importance of the confidential nature of the set space, yet aware that there can be a bubble effect where learning can be trapped in the set rather than impacting the wider organisation / system.
